Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This policy explains how PYK Ventures, LLC, which operates the websites snapsiteio.com and snapsite.ch under the trade name "SnapSite" ("SnapSite", "we", "us"), processes your personal data. It complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Controller
PYK Ventures, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of Delaware (United States), 1111B S Governors Avenue, #55926, Dover, DE 19904, United States. Email: contact@pykventures.com.
Contact person in Switzerland: Youssef Dib, Manager.
2. Visiting Our Websites
Our websites are hosted by Hostinger on servers located in France. Like any web server, it records technical logs on each visit: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. They are used only for the security and proper operation of the site, and are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
Our websites use no cookies, no audience measurement tool and no advertising tracker, and load no third-party service. Your browser only keeps, in its local storage, the language and theme (light or dark) you chose. These settings are not sent to us.
3. Request Form
When you fill in our form, we receive what you enter: name, email address, phone (optional), company, project description, preferences and attached files. This information reaches us by email at info@snapsite.ch, hosted by Hostinger in France.
Attached files stay on our server only until they are sent with that email, then they are deleted, at the latest 24 hours after upload. To limit abuse, we keep a fingerprint (hash) of your IP address for no more than 24 hours.
We use this data to answer your request, prepare a mockup or a quote and follow up. Your name, email and company are needed to answer you; everything else is optional.
4. Correspondence and Client Relationship
Our email correspondence is kept in our mailboxes, hosted by Hostinger in France.
To keep track of our contacts and projects, we use a customer relationship tool provided by Supabase, whose data is stored in the United Kingdom. Our working documents (quotes, contracts, project files) are kept in a private space at GitHub, in the United States.
If you become a client, we also process the data needed for the contract, invoicing and payment. Bank transfers go through Wise, card payments through Stripe. We never see card numbers: Stripe processes them directly.
5. Websites We Host for Our Clients
When we host a client's website, that website is hosted at Infomaniak, in Switzerland. We process its visitors' data on behalf of the client, who remains the controller: the client's own privacy policy applies.
The mockups we prepare for interested businesses are hosted at Hostinger, in France.
6. Business Prospecting
We may contact a business, individually and by email, using the business contact details it publishes itself, for example in a public directory such as local.ch. We only use these business details: company name, email address, sector and location. These lists are kept in the working tools described in section 4 and on a server located in Germany.
You can object at any time, free of charge, simply by replying to our message or by writing to contact@pykventures.com. We then stop contacting you and remove your details from our prospecting lists. We only keep your address on an exclusion list, so that we never write to you again.
7. Legal Bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (form, quote, project); our legitimate interest (site security, managing the relationship, prospecting businesses); our legal obligations (accounting).
8. Recipients and Transfers Abroad
We do not sell or rent your data. It is only disclosed to the providers named in this policy, who process it on our behalf, and to the authorities where the law requires it.
Countries involved: Switzerland (Infomaniak), France (Hostinger), United Kingdom (Supabase), Germany (prospecting server), United States (GitHub, Stripe), as well as the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States for payments processed by Wise and Stripe. PYK Ventures, LLC is itself established in the United States.
According to the Swiss Federal Council, the countries of the European Union and the United Kingdom provide adequate protection. For the United States, GitHub and Stripe are certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the Federal Council recognizes as providing adequate protection.
9. Retention
Server logs: as long as needed for site security. Files attached to the form: no more than 24 hours on our server. Requests and correspondence: as long as needed to handle your request and follow up, then deleted. Prospecting data: until you object, or until it is no longer useful. Contracts and accounting records: 10 years, as required by Swiss law (art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations).
10. Your Rights
You can ask to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to a processing, in particular to prospecting, and receive your data in a common format. Where the GDPR applies, you can also ask for a processing to be restricted.
Write to contact@pykventures.com. We answer within 30 days and may ask you to prove your identity.
You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority of your country.
11. Security
We protect your data with appropriate measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access restricted to our team. No system is, however, 100% secure.
12. Automated Decisions and Changes
We make no decision based solely on automated processing and do no profiling.
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force.
